Find quick answers to common questions about Watermark Studio Pro
General Questions
What is Watermark Studio Pro?
Watermark Studio Pro is a free, browser-based tool that lets you add watermarks to your photos without uploading them anywhere. Everything happens right in your browser, so your photos stay 100% private. You can add text watermarks (like your name or copyright), image watermarks (like logos), and process multiple photos at once.
Is this app really free?
Yes! Watermark Studio Pro is completely free to use. There are no premium features, no subscription fees, no hidden costs, and no watermarks added to your exported images. All features are available to everyone at no charge.
Do I need to create an account?
No! You don't need to create an account, sign up, or provide any personal information. Just open the app and start using it immediately. This is part of our privacy-first approach.
Can I use this offline?
Yes! After loading the page once, the app can work offline in most modern browsers. Since everything is processed in your browser, you don't need an internet connection to watermark your photos.
Will this work on my phone or tablet?
Absolutely! The app is fully responsive and works on all modern devices including smartphones and tablets. The interface adapts to your screen size for optimal usability on any device.
Privacy & Security
Are my photos uploaded to a server?
No! Your photos are NEVER uploaded to any server. Everything is processed entirely in your browser using client-side JavaScript. Your images stay on your device at all times, ensuring complete privacy and security.
How does the app work without uploading my photos?
The app uses client-side processing: (1) You load images from your computer into your browser, (2) JavaScript processes images using the Canvas API, (3) Watermarks are applied in browser memory, (4) You download the result directly, (5) Nothing is sent over the internet. Your browser does all the work!
Is my data tracked or collected?
No! We don't use analytics, we don't set tracking cookies, and we don't collect any data about your usage. Your privacy is our top priority. The app works completely anonymously.
What happens to my images when I close the browser?
All images are automatically cleared from browser memory when you close the tab or browser. Nothing is stored permanently. Each session is completely independent and private.
Usage & Features
Is there a limit to how many images I can watermark?
No limit! You can watermark as many images as you want. However, processing many large images at once may slow down your browser. We recommend processing 5-10 images at a time for best performance.
What image formats are supported?
Input: JPG, PNG, WebP, and most common image formats
Output: PNG (best quality), JPG (smaller file size), or WebP (modern format)
File Size Limit: Up to 50MB per image

What's the maximum image resolution supported?
The file size limit is 50MB, but there's no specific resolution limit. However, very large images (over 5000px) may be slow to process. For best performance, consider resizing extremely large images before watermarking.
Can I save my watermark settings for future use?
Currently, settings reset when you refresh the page. However, you can use the Templates feature to quickly reapply common watermark styles. We recommend using presets (Subtle, Bold, Elegant, etc.) as starting points.
Can I edit the watermark after applying it?
Yes! You can change any setting at any time, and changes apply immediately to the current image. You can also use Undo (Ctrl+Z) and Redo (Ctrl+Y) to revert changes. The app saves up to 50 history states.
Can I remove someone else's watermark with this app?
No, and you shouldn't try to do that elsewhere either. This app is designed for adding watermarks to protect YOUR content, not for removing other people's watermarks. Always respect copyrights and intellectual property rights.
